Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
Curfluffle ("we", "us") is an AI game-development studio in private beta. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
What we collect
- Account data. Authentication is handled by Clerk. We receive the identifiers Clerk provides (such as your email and a user id) to sign you in and scope your workspace to you.
- Your studio work. Projects, cards, characters, maps, drops, and other content you create are stored in your browser (local storage), namespaced to your account. This means your work stays on the device where you made it during the beta.
- Basic technical data. Standard server and security logs (for example, request metadata) needed to operate and protect the service.
How we use it
- To provide the studio, sign you in, and keep your work private to your account.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the service.
- To contact you about the beta and your account when needed.
What we do not do
- We never train AI models on your game. Your prompts, assets, and designs are not used to train models.
- We do not sell your personal data.
AI generation
Some features send the inputs you provide to AI model providers to generate drafts. Only the content you submit for a given task is sent, and only to produce that output for you.
Your work is yours
You own the content you create with Curfluffle. Because beta data is stored in your browser, clearing your browser storage will remove it — export anything you want to keep.
Data retention & your choices
You can delete your account at any time; ask us and we will remove the account data we hold. Browser-stored work is under your control on your device.
Changes
We will update this page as the product leaves beta (for example, when workspace data moves to a hosted database). Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
